Jessica’s latest range of cards are inspired by our beautiful British water birds and are prints of Jessica’s watercolour/gouache paintings. Each card features either a dipper, a grey heron, or a grey wagtail.
Each card is handmade, hand-finished, and environmentally friendly; plus 50p from each card sold will be donated to the Trust.
Jessica says; “Inspiration for my work comes from the natural world which I adore and cherish. As well as creating artworks which people love, I want to give back to the environment and do my part to help and protect it as best I can. The project I am involved in with Ribble Rivers Trust is my dream of weaving together my passion for art and nature.
I endeavour to use as many recycled and recyclable materials as possible in my work. I am extremely conscious about the environment and often feel overwhelmed with the catastrophic impact we, as humans, are having on it. I source all my materials from the UK, using eco-friendly businesses and I print my cards at home on an Eco-Tank printer which cuts out the need for ink cartridges. All my packaging is made from recycled materials and is recyclable.”
