Ribble Rivers Trust greetings cards

Here at Ribble Rivers Trust we’re really excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with local artist Jessica Jenyns. Jessica has created some beautiful river themed greetings cards which are handmade, hand-finished, and environmentally-friendly; plus 50p from each card sold will be donated to the Trust.

Jessica says; “Inspiration for my work comes from the natural world which I adore and cherish. As well as creating artworks which people love, I want to give back to the environment and do my part to help and protect it as best I can. The project I am involved in with Ribble Rivers Trust is my dream of weaving together my passion for art and nature.

I studied at Lancaster University for my undergraduate degree and spent 3 years surrounded by the beauty of Lancashire, growing    to appreciate the Ribble’s beauty and importance to its surrounding area. The Ribble is an immensely valuable resource to the British Countryside and Ribble Rivers Trust is doing incredible work to help the river’s flora and fauna flourish.

I endeavour to use as many recycled and recyclable materials as possible in my work. I am extremely conscious about the environment and often feel overwhelmed with the catastrophic impact we, as humans, are having on it. I source all my materials from the UK, using eco-friendly businesses and I print my cards at home on an Eco-Tank printer which cuts out the need for ink cartridges. All my packaging is made from recycled materials and is recyclable.

Ribble Rivers Trust is a beautifully inspiring charity helping people and nature alike to create a more sustainable and green future, and I am honoured to be working with them in this way.”
