Ribble Rivers Trust are delighted to have joined forces with Dunbia Sawley, in a corporate partnership which will see on the ground environmental improvements, as well as strengthening the bond between local food producers and the Trust’s Farm Advice Team.

The Ribble catchment covers a huge 750 square miles of land. A huge percentage of this is the farmland that produces the food we need to power the UK. So, it makes sense to team up with the people that help get this food from farm to fork!

As part of the partnership, Ribble Rivers Trust will be assisting the Dunbia team with improvements around their Sawley site. Work will include tree planting, wildflower meadow restoration, making of bird, bat and owl boxes, and other habitat improvements. Together, our teams will work to improve the catchments waters, habitats, and the overall environment.
