Firstly, you can become a supporter of Ribble Rivers Trust. This type of business giving is simple, quick, and easy! Just think of a figure and get in touch with us to see what we can offer. Typically most companies donate every year and, in return, you get some great publicity and the knowledge that you are making your local area a better place for wildlife, and human, communities.
On the other hand, our corporate sponsors can pay for a specific activity or goal that is close to your, or your businesses, heart. For example, if you are passionate about education, you could sponsor our Rivers in the Classroom project, and we could use your money to buy education materials for us to use in schools, or outdoor clothing which can be lent to disadvantaged children, both of which grant funders won’t cover.
You can also support our work through one to one donations. One for one donations are growing in popularity as a corporate giving method, and are useful as they have a direct link to your sales, and your profits. One popular method of giving is to plant a tree one tree for every order received, or to donate a set percent of your profits. This could apply to all your sales and services, or just one of your specific products. Fairham Gin are an amazing example of this. As well as making amazing, delicious gin, they’re helping to plant thousands of trees across Lancashire.

Team away days
Everyone loves a day out of the office!
Team away days are a great chance to treat your staff to a fun day out. By taking your team out of the workplace you’ll be able to break down barriers, encourage conversations, and help everyone meet, chat, and work in a new and exciting environment.
Depending on the time of year we offer various activities, from tree planting to clean ups, your staff will be able to exercise their brains, and bodies, as they improve their local environment.
Most importantly, we’ll supply the brews and biscuits!
How does your commitent to corporate social responsibility help us?
Ribble Rivers Trust’s projects are mostly grant funded, but unfortunately there are some things that grant funding doesn’t pay for, such as wildlife surveying, staff and volunteer training, project research and development, and site maintenance. The money raised from business giving ensures that the Trust has a regular, reliable funding stream, which can cover these vital costs. It also helps us to plan ahead, ensuring that we can keep protecting rivers and the surrounding area in the future.
