riverfly monitoring dashboard

A new season of monitoring has started! And so, it comes with some new changes to how Riverfly at Ribble Rivers Trust is operating. This year, we’re retiring our old dashboard on the Ribble Rivers Trust website and switching to Cartographer, allowing smoother data processing and ease of viewing.

Signing up for Cartographer

Signing up is simple, please go to: www.riverflies.org/cartographer

  1. Go to the link above and enter your name and email
  2. If you want to receive the Riverfly Partnership monthly newsletter than check the appropriate box (recommended)
  3. Important: Please enter ‘Ribble Rivers Trust’ into the box asking if you are part of a Riverfly Monitoring Initiative Group
  4. It may take up to 1 week to process your account, then you’re in!
  5. You should receive two emails:
    • One with an invitation to accept the cartographer account, click the link to finish setting up the account. Important note: Please enter full name when asked for your ‘Screen Name’
    • And another email with a link to the ‘guide to submitting results’ (same link as below)

Submitting results on Cartographer

Before submitting results, please go to: help.cartographer.io/riverfly

Go to the link above as this details all the guidance you need for submitting riverfly results as a surveyor

You will be able to submit records once your account is processed, so for those early season samplers – feel free to still proceed with sampling and just make sure to upload the results once you can sign in.
